Hello Angeles! SO much has happened in my life since my last post on here, and of course it was just a gift guide hahaa... nothing personal, but still, since then a lot has changed!

For starters, I'm officially blonde, and not only blonde, but platinum and I LOVE it!! Love, love, LOVE it!!! At long last too, I've wanted to go platinum for a lifetime, I'm so glad I'm now able to!

Okay but other than hair, I now have a job, which has kept me very, very busy. I work in a pop-up shop for the holidays called Made. It is in Carytown, so if you live in RVA it's your one stop shop this holiday season for all your gifty needs!

Most importantly though, I just spent this past weekend in Los Angeles! What?! I know. How'd that happen? Well..... I went for the Teen Vogue Summit, which was INCREDIBLE, but more on that later!!!

I arrived in LA two days early, giving me a full day of fun prior to the summit. I stayed with my friend from SCAD, Chris. Chris, his brother and I spent our fun day by the beach! We went to Venice Beach and the Santa Monica Pier. It was really quite fun, lots of colors, people trying to sell you mixtapes, and PLENTY of roller skaters... plenty of them. Here are some of my photos from the day!!
We went to a spot called "Eggslut" for lunch, I'm not a fan of the name, however I am a fan of their salads, yes please.
THE ICONIC LIFEGUARD STAND!! I couldn't help but jump for joy when I saw this... Also while there, we ran into some other blogger/insta gals doing a lil photoshoot, the photographer was taking photos of cool girls in these turbans that her friend is launching the line of very soon! She asked if she could take some photos of me wearing a few as well, which was of course a yes! It was super cool, so who knows, my head in a turban may be famous one day!! YES!
LA was in full bloom, which was sort of crazy to see flowers everywhere, but at the same time I suppose that's normal for LA this time of year, STILL!
Next we headed to the Santa Monica pier, which is actually quite close, we did drive however from Venice Beach, BUT! It is close enough to walk for sure. Although we didn't ride any rides, the pier was a lot of fun, besides the incredible sunset, everything on the pier was full of fun and color! So much SPUNK! My kind of place!
My trip to LA flew by in the blink of an eye, I can't wait to share my experience at the summit with you all (soon I promise! Stay tuned, you won't want to miss it!) But I did really enjoy doing the touristy LA things, there is seriously SO MUCH to do, LA is massive, I'll have to go back to take it all in! Whenever that is I do not know, but can't wait! Until then... xo, O

photo from Oh Happy Day

It's that time of year, the most wonderful time of year! HOLIDAY TIME!! Whether it's for Christmas, Hanukkah, or you're just in the gift giving mood, it's present season!! What a better way to kick off the season here with a cheap and easy gift guide. Nothing is better than a stress free holiday, so get your gifts soon to eliminate any last minute stress... because no one needs that this time of year!!

These are all gifts under $15, so they are pretty affordable. Honestly it's hard to find good things online from reputable stores that are super duper cheap. But I thought you know what, some of these could be stocking stuffers, some stand alone gifts! Everything here I know I would love for sure, and if you're here and you're anything like me, I'm sure you will too :)

Let's get into it then! Happy shopping and happy holidays!! xo, O
For the plant lover- Urban Outfitters $12
These mini wall planters are PERFECT for anyone who loves plants. I love hanging plants, but a lot of the time struggle to find a place to put them where they get enough light, so what's better than a planter you can hang on the window! Sun loving plants and plant loving people are sure to love this cheap gift.
For the one with the sweet tooth- Shop Studio DIY $1 sale, $7.99
Got someone in your life who loves collecting patches and who also loves cake? I mean who doesn't love cake.....?? This patch is cute, fun, and fabulous! What's not to love?! Now who's got the cake? I'm hungry.
For the candle lover- Amazon $14.50
I have burnt through a few of these Capri Blue Volcano candles and let me tell you, they are the best smelling candles I've ever had. You've probably seen them at stores like Anthropologie and Altr'd State, but I could only find it under $15 on Amazon. I'm serious though, if you don't get this for a friend, treat yourself, it's worth it and so are you.
For the beauty guru- Glossier $14
When I was in New York a bit ago I went to the Glossier showroom and tried this lip gloss, it truly is the glossiest. I personally don't own any Glossier products, but everyone I know who does loves it and swears by it, it's fantastic!! Do your beauty loving friend a favor and get them this gloss so all their high gloss dreams can finally come true!!
For the festival bound- Forever 21 $7.90
If hair glitter isn't the coolest, trendiest new thing for festivals I don't know what is. Forget the flower crowns and the hair chalk, this hair glitter will spice up anyones look in seconds!! I may even get myself some it's just that cool.
For the jewelry lover- Anthropologie $8
How CUTE! I have a friend that these would be perfect for! We all have that accessory lovin' friend, but nothing is worse than loosing a ring!! Never let it happen again with these adorable little guys around. Honestly, how delightful would it be for nail salons to have these at their stations for peoples rings! I've left my rings at the nail salon one too many times...
For literally anyone who ever shops for anything- Beehive $15 for 15% off use code YOURECUTE
I never leave the house without reusable bags when running errands, grocery shopping or personal shopping, I hate to waste paper bags and don't even get me started on plastic bags! Reduce waste with this super chic reusable bag!! And better yet, use my code YOURECUTE for 15% off :)
This is actually super important! Please be a conscious shopper! Especially this season when shopping is at an all time high, your planet is begging you!!
For the party girl- ModCloth $9
You know a gift is good when it can roll into the new year and be used over and over again. This ultra cool bottle topper is the perfect gift for anyone throwing a NYE party! Going to a party and bringing wine? Make it a more personal and unique gift by adding a bottle topper! ModCloth has a few good ones, this was just my favorite for the holidays :)
For the working girl- Paper Source $2
The perfect desk calendar. It's easy to read, and makes scheduling fun! Coolest part about it? It's all one sheet! Like an accordion, it folds out, this way you'll never loose a sheet!
For the instaqueen- Ban.do $10
Last but not least... any instaloving gal knows that this is an instafamous prop! Ban.do is perfect for anyone looking for props to turn their instagrams into instaglams! Trust me on this one, not only does this disco ball tumbler make any drink a party, but it'll be adorable sitting on any shelf as a knick knack.

dress and shoes- Mod & Soul // top- thrifted

Howdy! It's Wednesday, I desperately need to be studying right now... but here I am procrastinating. HEY! That's okay! Right? Probably not... Anyway, last week Matt and I took these photos and I think they're pretty cool. I'm getting really into weird portrait photography. Basically just not typical standing and smiling photos that you may be used to on a blog. Have you ever heard of Mango Street? They're photographers and YouTubers, I really like their style, weird poses, and all around good composition. I want to get more into making interesting, quality content over just the same old quick blog post everyday. You dig? I dig.

In other news, life update: finals seem to be going well. Yeah it's a lot of work and yeah it sure is stressful, but I'm actually having a lot of fun. Although I'm beyond excited to go home on Friday, at the same time I'm going to miss my friends and all the good times we have here too! This quarter absolutely FLEW by! Due to the hurricane, we had to have classes on Friday which made for longer weeks and everYTHING HAPPENING AT ONCE! It was a crazy quarter, but a fantastic one none the less. Here's to another great one in 2018!!

top and bag- Beehive // sunnies- H+M // leggings- Vans similar // earrings- Mallory Wolk // shoes- Mod & Soul

Hello Wonderful Humans! Hope your week is off to a good start so far :)
I'm going to be completely honest with you guys, I've had this post open for probably likkkeeee five days now, just UNABLE to take the time to sit down and post. I've been so busy it's been ridiculous! As you probably know, it's finals week for me, last week was horrific and this week is even worse. If being sick all weekend isn't enough to make things stressful, finals sure helps. Oh the joy of all nighters and last minute cram sessions... ANYWAY! Let's talk about these photos and this OUTFIT!

Lately it seems as though the whole world (and by that I just mean fast fashion companies like Urban and Forever 21 and those types of brands) is going nuts for black and white checked clothing. I mean... not to toot my own horn or anything, but I've ALWAYS loved black and white anything, so black and white checks ain't anything new to me... I'm so ahead of the trend, ha! I'm such a hipster y'all... BUT these sweet leggings aren't the only thing worth mentioning in this post..
THESE EARRINGS! My friend here at school, Mallory makes and sells them on Etsy, she's on a break for school but will start selling again during break (which is in three days). When I saw her wearing a pair one day in class I KNEW I needed to get my hands on a pair of my own. Seriously though, HOW CUTE!

Lastly, always worth mentioning is my Beehive gear. I'm wearing my "dorky sauce" Beehive Babe tee and then working this CRAZY COOL bag! I'm obsessed with it and have already gotten SO many complements! It's seriously the best!!

FOR BEEHIVE: Use the code "YOURECUTE" at check out for 10% off!!

Besides all those glorious things, that's pretty much it for me right now. I've been so busy with work and vlogging lately it feels like I don't even have time to breathe. I have really been upping my YouTube game though y'all, so be sure to check that out :) Until next time, xo, O
